Terry
Biggar - Harmonica/Guitar
Terry
has been passionate about the Blues and harmonica for
the last 35 years. At sixteen, he first picked up a harp,
inspired by Big Walter Horton, Charlie Musselwhite and
James Cotton. He has never put it down since, unless it
was to pick up a guitar.
After spending years promoting, managing and producing
for various artists, he finally came out of the closet
and has played with Sonny Rhodes, Frankie Lee, guitar
Shorty, and The Ink Spots to name a few. After meeting
Robert, he organized his own band, "Blues Tribe".
His strive for perfection inspires an authentic Chicago
Blues sound and West Coast swing.

Robert
Johnson - Guitar/Vocals
Robert
began playing guitar at thirteen. He practised to the
records of Lonnie Mack, The Ventures, The Beatles and
the Rolling Stones, to name a few. Performing professionally
at fifteen, he played Rock & Roll and Rhythm &
Blues on the weekends. At eighteen, he joined Bill Hills,
the band known as "Children Blue", performing
R & B and south side Chicago Blues. From 1968 - 2005
Robert has played in several groups with various styles
as a freelance musician.
Robert has also performed for over twenty years with his
partner/vocalist, Liz Campbell. As well, he has been teaching
guitar students for over ten years. Robert's passion lies
in Blues, Soul and R & B with influences such as Jackie
Wilson, Joe Cocker, Sam Myers, Anson Funderburgh and Luther
Allison. Robert has been with "Blues Tribe"
since it's inception adding the rhythm to their R &
B along with heartfelt solos that keep the fans coming
back.

John L.D. Modder - Drums/Vocals
John
is self-taught from the age of five years old. In 1972,
he took a 22-year leave of absence from playing live gigs,
but never stopped honing his skills. He resurfaced in
Vancouver in 1994 and joined "One a Week Down"
and "Moonstone". He also played with various
other Vancouver dance bands.
Since moving to the Okanagan in 2001, he played with Sherman
Doucette's "Tankfull of Blues" and in early
2004 he joined "Blues Tribe". John's feel and
groove anchor the band and will keep your toes tappin'.

Arthur Jacob Boehm - Bass
Arthur
has over forty years experience as a bassist(electric and
acoustic), playing everything from jazz piano/bass duos
to 25 piece big bands and even youth orchestras in the younger
days! He's played Rock ' n Roll with "C. Cuddy and
the Gorillas", country/ethnic with the likes of Al
Cherney and jazz with "Mike "n Doug Murley".
He
believes playing bass is 50 percent note and 50 percent
rhythm providing a solid foundation for a groove that lets
soloists excel, and one that will keep you dancing.

Ray
Volk - Saxophone
Ray
started playing at age 15 for the John Deschner orchestra
and a rock band called the Coachmen. He has played various
styles from Bavarian to Broadway. He has played continuously
since 1962, and plays with numerous other bands in the
Okanagan Valley, including country, jazz and MOR.
Rays
gutzy blues sound adds the icing on the "Blues Tribe"
sound with punchy riffs and solos that take the band to
the next level. One of his best memories is being kissed
on the cheek by Ella Fitzgerald.

Sig
Schnellert - Piano/Hammond/Sax
Sig
has had a lifetime of piano training & performance
in styles from classical to blues and everything in between.
His other talents include Hammond organ, saxophone, production,
and sound mixing.
He
is a former member of Dog Skin Suit and has played with
numerous bands. When not playinig Sig can be found recording
in his sudio or working his built in multi media business,
Sig's HOMedia. His tasty Hammond licks add authenticity
to each song, with solos that make you listen and take
notice.
